Ex-collection Josef Bartuška, with his bookplate designed by Richard Lander. Josef Bartuška (1898–1963) was a multi talented member of the Linie group, which he co-founded. He was a gifted artist: poet, painter, journalist, editor, photographer, book designer, critic and printer, comparable to Karel Teige’s role in the Devětsil movement. Miroslav Haller (1901–1968) was a poet, writer, translator, theater critic, teacher and also a member of the Linie group. This is one of the very fine bibliophile releases by the Skupina Linie.Worldcat finds one copy of this work in North American libraries.
