Printed paper wrappers printed in blue and black with a picture of newspapers on the front cover. 47,  p. 23.5 x 15.5 cm. Edition of 1,400. Kreis Fronte was a leftist cultural review which was published in 17 issues between 1928 and 1930 (the last one was double). It rivaled the renowned Signals for significance in the serial publications of the Latvian avant-garde. Kreis Fronte included forward-looking literary elements, as well as photomontage artwork. It preceded Laicens’ other major magazine Trib ne.
OCLC locates fragmentary holdings of this journal in two libraries, NYPL, and Waseda, but it is unclear if either owns this issue.
