Nova heneratsiia: zhurnal livoi formatsii mystetstva (New generation: journal of the Left Front of the Arts)
No. 2, February 1928. Edition of 1,500. Special architecture issue. Includes articles by Kazimir Malevich, Aleksei Gan, and Le Corbusier. Nova heneratsiia was the Ukrainian version of Lef. A monthly journal, it presented material on modern Ukrainian, Russian, and Western European art and literature. Over the course of its four-year run, it included many articles by Malevich setting forth his views on art; and poems, prose and criticism by Aseev, Osip Brik, Kirsanov, Mayakovsky, and others. A total of 3 issues were published in 1927, after which New Generation became a monthly.
