Printed paper wrappers. Text by various authors (Ivan Kliun, Aleksei Kruchenykh, and Kazimir Malevich). Includes three signed Constructivist illustrations by Kliun, of which one is on the cover. One signed plate with a reproduction of Kliunís Ozonator (1914, oil on canvas). 32 p. 23 x 19 cm. Edition of 450. Includes an essay by Kruchenykh attacking Russian symbolism and its romantic, escapist tendencies, in which he praises Futurist Russian poet Elena Guro for her use of transrational language. Also includes short essays by Malevich and Kliun highlighting the key differences between Futurism and Symbolism. Getty gives the date of publication as 1915. A drawing of the Ozonator on paper is owned by the Museum of Russian Culture in San Francisco. Some wear, but otherwise in very good condition.
